End of 2025 Season Survey
To our Fencers,
As we are wrapping up the end of another Fencing season, we ask that you please take some time to provide us with some valuable feedback so that we’re able to improve the program for next season.
The survey will only take a few minutes and the Google Form link can be found here:
https://forms.gle/jVPK5JqcZtRCUWiE9
You’ll be required to sign into your school account to ensure one response per person (and you can edit your response afterwards if you want to).
Note: All fencers who complete this survey will go into a raffle to win a special mystery prize at the Fencing Dinner! As such, your email address will be collected for verification purposes and will only be used for the raffle.
The survey will remain open for the next couple of weeks (until the Fencing Dinner), but please consider completing it ASAP so that we can review and start planning next year’s program to meet the needs of our school community.
Thank you very much for your time and assistance and may the Force be with you!

End of season – returning Fencing gear
Hi all,
As we approach the last training session of the season, please remember to clean and return your fencing gear. Please notify Mr Huynh via email if there are any issues with your borrowed gear.
Seniors are to return ALL borrowed gear during the Wednesday Sport session (13/08/2025).
Juniors are to return ALL borrowed gear during the Thursday Sport session (14/08/2025).
The only exception would be for U16 and U14 Epee Squad Fencers who still have a final NSWSFL fixture over the next 2 Saturdays. Those Fencers are expected to return any borrowed gear directly to Mr Huynh before 1pm Wednesday 27/08/2025.
Please help us by returning the gear on time as we need to do a stocktake of all items in our inventory. This is a huge task as we have over 500 items to track! Do your part in taking care of our equipment and follow Check-in/Check-out equipment procedures so we can maintain and invest in quality gear for future seasons.
Failure to return equipment on time will result in a detention doing burpees.
Training will be focused on fitness activities and games during the final week for those who are returning borrowed fencing whites.
PLEASE ALSO NOTE: The storeroom in the cricket nets must be cleared of all fencing bags by end of Thursday’s training session! Any bag left behind will result in 100 burpees to reclaim their bag.
For those who have asked to borrow gear in the off-season to help continue their fencing training, plans are in the works to lend out equipment AFTER stocktake is complete.
Thanks for your cooperation!
Cheers,
Mr Dat Huynh

If you don’t already own one, please see me in my staff room tomorrow (Friday) to get one. All other fencers should wear the High soccer (mostly blue with one brown stripe on top) sock on your back leg.

We encourage all senior squad fencers to attend to help prepare for the upcoming competition – for those new to national level competitions, please ask your coaches to prepare you for special rules such as when to ask for video reffing, passivity rules etc.
Please borrow all relevant equipment as needed using the QR code system. Mr Huynh will be available to help with internal weapon/gear checks on Wednesday during the training session.
Please contact Mr Huynh if there are any issues or questions.
