Proposed NSWSFL Epee Individual competitions for U14 and U16 in Term 4 – Please register your interest

Hi all,

Edwin Lapitan (Parent Fencing Coordinator at St Aloysius) is organising some individual competitions for Epee U14 and U16 fencers in Term 4 and has asked if we have any Epee fencers who would be interested in attending these events.

Events will most likely be held at St Aloysius College and dates proposed are:

26-Oct – U19/U16 pools, 8:30am start
02-Nov – U19/U14 pools, 8:30am start
09-Nov – U16/U14 pools, 8:30am start
16-Nov – All DE, 8:00am start

If you are interested in participating, please email Mr Huynh ASAP (by Thursday 12/09/19) so that we can respond to Edwin on Friday with indicative numbers. There will likely be no entry fee involved as this is another pilot program for the NSWSFL.

Please contact Mr Huynh if there are any issues or questions.

Cheers,
Mr Dat Huynh

End of 2019 Season Survey

Hi all,

As we are wrapping up the end of another Fencing season, we ask that you please take some time to provide us with some valuable feedback so that we’re able to improve the program for next season.

The survey will only take a few minutes and the Google Form link can be found here:
SBHS Fencing 2019 – End of season survey

You’ll be required to sign into your Google account to ensure one response per person (and you can edit your response afterwards if you need to). The survey is completed anonymously as your email address is not collected.

The survey will remain open for the next few weeks (until the end of term), but please consider completing it ASAP so that we can review and start planning next year’s program to meet the needs of our school community.

Thank you very much for your time and assistance and may the Force be with you!

Fencing Dinner: requesting helpers to set up the Great Hall

I’d like some help to set up the Great Hall after school on Friday so that there’s less to do on Saturday afternoon. Expect 3:15pm to 3:45pm. Zooper Doopers for your assistance.

On Saturday, I will be at school from 3pm. Students are asked to come early to help with set up. You can warm up your Nidhogg skills if set up is completed early.

Reminder that all students are to wear full school uniform as it is a school event.

I look foward to seeing you there!

Cheers,
Mr Dat Huynh
