Training session this Saturday 10/06/17 for all new Year 7 fencers

Hi all,

I have scheduled a special training session for year 7s this Saturday 10/06/17. This session is an opportunity for our new fencers to learn more about Epee and Sabre fencing. Year 7 fencers will need to choose a weapon preference next year when they continue fencing in year 8 – subject to places available in the Epee, Sabre and Foil program. This session is to give them them a bit of practical experience to help them make their preference selections next season.

Our Epee and Sabre coaches, Ted, Tony and Garry, will be present to help me run the Saturday session.

Training will be held at the COLA (Cricket nets) from 9am to 12pm. I will be asking for a few student mentors in Epee and Sabre to assist the coaches and me on the day. Please register your interest to attend as a mentor with Mr Huynh by Wednesday.

Cheers,

Mr Huynh
