Come together for a memorable evening of great food, Achievement Awards, games, and exciting lucky door prizes as we wrap up the season.

WHEN: Friday 11th September 2026, 5:30pm (for a 6pm start) – 9pm
WHERE:Great Hall, Sydney Boys High School
DRESS CODE: Fencers to wear full school uniform.

Fencers, Adults & Siblings (Over 12 yrs): $50 per person
Siblings (non SBHS Fencers 12 yrs & Under): $25 per person

Please pay for your ticket online via the Parents Payment Portal and complete the RSVP Google Form to register your dietary requirements.

Please pay and RSVP by Wednesday 2 September to help our Dinner Committee organise catering and manage details.

Hi Squad Fencers,

Please remember to attend the last photo session of the year for 1st and 2nd grade and Squads, schedule for next Tuesday 25/08/2026.

Full school uniform (blazers for 1st Grade) required. Remember to bring your ID card for scanning.

Arrive 15 minutes prior to your photo time. Senior Captains, please grab 2 swords of your weapons for the Squad photos.

Period 1:

9 am – 9:30 am: 1st Grade photos (3 photos: Foil, Epee, Sabre)
9:50 am: Fencing – Weapon Squads (3 photos: Foil, Epee, Sabre)

For non year 8 fencers, Please remember to return your borrowed Fencing gear tomorrow at the start of Lunch 1 (Wednesday 19/08/2026).

Please remember that all borrowed gear must be washed, clean and dry before you return them in order to get your contract signed off as returned.

Failure to comply will result in detention if I have to chase you up on missing gear.

For all fixture events, please aim to arrive 60 minutes earlier than your start time so that you can check in with the DT, get your name marked off the Clipboard roll with your coach, and warm up sufficiently before your first official bout. Get on the pistes early for warm up bouts before it gets crowded!

We welcome and encourage our Fencing parents to come support our boys and network with our fencing supporters. Thanks to our amazing Fencing Committee and parent volunteers who help to make our program one of the most organised and best run sports in the school.

For competing fencers, please get in the habit of arriving earlier than your start time with sufficient time to check in with the DT, get your name marked off the Clipboard roll with your coach, and warm up sufficiently before your first official bout. Get on the pistes early for warm up bouts before it gets crowded!

As we are hosting this event, we ask all attending SBHS Fencing students to come 90 minutes earlier (6:30am) to help set up the 2 venues and assist with parking and guiding our guests to the correct venues. Please help your coaches move equipment and set up the spaces by 7am! Let’s all work together to show our guests our High Spirit and lead by example!

We welcome and encourage our Fencing parents to come support our boys and network with our fencing supporters. Thanks to our amazing Fencing committee and parent volunteers who help to make our program one of the most organised and best run sports in the school.
