Welcome to the start of the Winter Sport season! We have the following sessions planned to conduct newbie try outs this week and work towards finalising squads by the end of the term:

Monday 16/03/2026:
3:30pm to 5pm at the COLA
Newbie Junior Fencers Try Out Session 1 of 2

Wednesday 18/03/2026:
1:10pm to 3pm at the COLA
Senior Sport

3:30pm to 5pm at the COLA:
U16 Foil Squad Trials

Thursday 19/03/2026:
1:10pm to 3pm at the COLA
Junior Sport

3:30pm to 5pm at the COLA:

Rolls have been added to Clipboard with relevant information for each session.

As squad trials are ongoing this term, please keep an eye out for when your trials are scheduled in the coming weeks.

We aim to have the final list of Newbie fencers for the season sorted by end of Thursday’s training session.
Please check and inform Mr Huynh if there are any issues or questions.

Please have this task completed by 3:00pm Thursday 12/03/2026 as we need time to plan resources and set up pools for Squad try-outs.

The Google Form is part of the try-out process and does not guarantee your selection.

Please note: Students must complete the form on their own! It can only be accessed with an SBHS student email account signed in.

Due to the demand and limited places, students who do not follow instructions to fill in the try-out form may be cut and will not be able to progress to physical try-outs.
